Drop balls with unlimited play money • 12 rows • Low, medium and high risk • Not affiliated with Rainbet
You drop a ball from the top of a 12-row board. It bounces left or right off every peg and lands in one of 13 slots, each with a multiplier. Your bet is multiplied by the slot you land in, so a 1× slot returns your bet, anything lower loses part of it and anything higher is a win. Everything here uses play money: there is nothing to deposit and nothing to cash out.
Each peg is a fair coin flip, so the ball lands in the middle far more often than at the edges. That is the whole game: the edge slots pay the most because they are the hardest to reach.
With 12 rows there are 4,096 possible paths. The chance of each slot comes from simple counting, and the table below is the left half of the board (the right half is a mirror image).
| Edge | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | Centre | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slot probability | 0.02% | 0.29% | 1.61% | 5.37% | 12.08% | 19.34% | 22.56% |
The centre slot is hit about 22.6% of the time. Landing in one of the two edge slots is a 1 in 2,048 shot, so a top-prize drop is rare.
Risk level changes the prizes but not the physics. Low risk keeps most slots near 1×. High risk pushes the edges up to 30× and pays less than your bet in the middle.
| Risk | Edge | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | Centre |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 6× | 2× | 1.4× | 1.1× | 1× | 1× | 0.8× |
| Medium | 12× | 4× | 1.5× | 1.2× | 1.1× | 1× | 0.6× |
| High | 30× | 8× | 3× | 1.8× | 1.2× | 0.7× | 0.4× |
| Risk | Top prize | Lowest | Chance of 1× or more | Long-run return |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 6× | 0.8× | 77.4% | 98.68% |
| Medium | 12× | 0.6× | 77.4% | 99.45% |
| High | 30× | 0.4× | 38.8% | 100.25% |
These figures are calculated from the multiplier tables in this simulator's own code, so they describe this game. Other Plinko games use different tables.

Yes. Every peg is an independent 50/50 left-or-right choice, which produces the bell-shaped slot odds shown above.
It changes the prizes, not the path. Low and medium risk return at least 1× about 77% of the time in this simulator, while high risk does it less than 39% of the time but pays more at the edges.
